Przy układaniu programów szkolnych traktuje się je jako czynnik rozstrzygający o tym, jaka będzie młodzież kończąca szkołę, toteż komisje programowe drobiazgowo roztrząsają, co w każdym przedmiocie nauczania dodać, zmienić lub skreślić.

Sama młodzież jest przy tym traktowana jak surowiec, z którego otrzyma się wyroby zależne od zastosowanej obróbki.

Podczas szkolenia okazuje się, że sprawa jest złożona — obok postawy nauczyciela odgrywa jednak rolę również postawa ucznia, stosuje się więc rozmaite środki mające skłonić ucznia do współdziałania.

I wreszcie, gdy dochodzi do egzaminowania, okazuje się, że wszystkiemu jest winien tylko uczeń. Sprawę traktuje się tak, jak gdyby tylko starania ucznia rozstrzygały o jego wiedzy (przecież gdyby tak było naprawdę, to nauczyciele byliby niepotrzebni).

Jest kapitalne, że w razie ujemnych wyników wspólnego trudu ucznia i nauczyciela represje w stosunku do jednego z tych wspólników wymierza drugi wspólnik!

After a bit of patient work, we got to the point, where every morning I go to our balcony and throw several handfuls of food (unsalted peanuts & dry cat food) at the grass across the alley and on the lawn under the baclony. Within minutes, we have a bunch of hugry beasts methodically combing the grass (peanuts go first, od course) in both places.
On the other hand, my meticulously prepared feeding station at the balcony stays untouched. Occasional magpie picks on peanuts and flies away. Crows, rooks and jackdaws are completely oblivious to the appeal of a nicely served food.

What am I doing wrong? Is the balcony too exposed? Should I get some astroturf to make it look more invitingly? Change the plate (perhaps it reverberates under their beaks)? Procure an artificial crow, so they get jealous and come for food or sex? Lay naked, sprinkled with ketchup, pretending to be a fresh carrion?

Please, whoever has more intimate knowledge of a Corvidean soul, share your wisdom and help me fulfill my dream of befriending some of them.

Besides, I just ordered another 10 kg bag of peanuts, and I am certainly not going to eat them alone.
