The problem is that is a convenient lie, and so many people uphold it. The state itself is a lie, so perhaps it is irrelevant what kind of state it is.
This is Israeli law though, so “it claims to be” is more accurate than “it is”, which is consistent with the OP. This is kinda like saying Taiwan/PRC is the only China legally, since they both claim to be. @argumento
