I understand your point, but my essay isn’t about the number of deaths, it’s about the depth of suffering inflicted. Israel has destroyed Palestinian homes and livelihoods, forcing families into makeshift tents to face winter’s cold. A total siege blocks medical supplies, leaving children injured by Israeli bombs to endure amputations without anesthesia or painkillers. Incendiary bombs and white phosphorus burn people alive.

Most recently, starving Palestinians have been lured with promises of aid, only to be shot. This calculated cruelty, not just the body count, is what marks Israel’s actions as a moral nadir.

Israelis had the experience of Holocaust AND the knowledge of its methods, with the whole moral and scientific understanding.

And still, on their own, they chose to follow the same path. This is much worse than the original Nazi history, or even Stalinist remake.
