I swear, seeing people’s reactions to certain storylines in recent books and movies: some of y’all didn’t grow up in cults and it shows
And not in a good way

She was a CHILD when she was indoctrinated. Her brain was shaped by these lies and stories. It takes years to undo that.

Because getting the body out is one thing, rewiring the brain is another

And if you don’t learn at least a little bit about what an invisible prison that is, you are going to continue to be blindsided by those neighbors acting seemingly completely contrary to all sense
