Artykuł pokazuje (ale niewystarczająco podkreśla), że "rynek mieszkaniowy" w Polsce, to w istocie trzy rynki:
1. Flipperzy i średnioterminowi spekulanci ("zakup na lokatę")
2. Inwestorzy w wynajem (landlordzi-rentierzy)
3. Konsumenci-lokatorzy.

Luka cenowa, skutkująca niezaspokojeniem potrzeb mieszkaniowych rosnącej grupy osób, wynika z bańki spekulacyjnej, rozdymanej przez pierwszą grupę kupujących. Ponieważ oznacza ona także wzrost cen dla drugiej grupy, oczywiście powoduje to wzrost cen na rynku pochodnym - usług wynajmu.

Jak długo ta tendencja trwa, trzecia grupa zawsze będzie na przegranej pozycji.

Co w tej sytuacji można zrobić, aby polepszyć zaspokojenie społecznych potrzeb mieszkaniowych? Na pewno nie to, co chce robić rząd poprzez "kredyt 0%", bo to jedynie wzmocni pozycję dwóch pierwszych grup.
Zamiast tego należy (i mam tu na myśli inicjatywy oddolne - municypalne i społeczne):

- zwiększyć dostępność tanich usług najmu (mieszkania komunalne, ale także wsparcie najemców w najmie okazjonalnym).
- ułatwić uruchamianie przedsiębiorstw społecznych, których celem jest zaspokajanie potrzeb mieszkaniowych swoich członków i osób z grup wrażliwych.
- lobbować na rzecz zmian w przepisach, ale też w interpretacji istniejących przepisów, na rzecz wzmocnienia pozycji mieszkalnictwa społecznego.

Osoby nieproduktywne łatwo jest, w duchu logiki kapitalizmu, odsuwać na margines – nawet ruchom i organizacjom z etosem społecznym. Jednak post-aktywistki zwykle mierzą się z głębokim zagubieniem i wymagają solidarnej troski. Stanowią również możliwy do odzyskania potencjał. Leży on zarówno w perspektywie powrotu do działania – z nową dojrzałością i starymi changemakerskimi umiejętnościami, jak i w przegapianych, cennych mądrościach, które niesie ich głos.

Powiem więcej - ruch, który nie dba o osoby aktywistyczne, nie pomaga im się zregenerować, jest nie lepaszy od korporacyjnej maszynki do mięsa. Samowyzysk i brak systemowego wsparcia w traumie czyni - pod pozorem heroizmu - z aktywistek mięso armatnie.
