For @COMFY Tech Artel Poznań purposes I plan to use #pixelfed as a gallery of art / designs, people would vote for and (hopefully) commission in 2d/3d print.
Now, anyone can point me, please, to a plugin, connector or whatnot to add "order" or "commission" button to a post there?

See a crude example here.

Nasze myślenie polityczne i moralne mówi nam do czego dążyć i czego unikać, a nasze myślenie praktyczne - jak to zrealizować w konkretnych realiach.

Co do zasady, #Artel Poznań stosuje się do uogólnionej struktury samorządnej społeczności, przedstawionej poniżej.
[Opis obrazka]
Diagram obrazuje trzy "warstwy" społeczności, które budujemy równolegle i we wzajemnej zależności - w centrum jest grupa ludzi, "obudowana" infrastrukturą materialną: wspólną przestrzenią, współdzielonymi zasobami, kanałami komunikacji i transportu. Trzecia, zewnętrzna warstwa to niematerialne spoiwo społeczności: wspólny model i mapa świata, wspólna agenda (strategia) oraz wspólne protokoły sukcesji i podejmowania decyzji.

If I understand the concept of #FPGA properly, it uses "generic" electronic modules (FPG arrays) that can be (reversibly?) "personalized" to behave like a custom desinged circuits.
To personalize them, we need:
1. Some design and development environment, where we design and test specific configurations for given functionality. And this part is rather resource-intensive.

2. Some "flashing" environment to "imprint" existing models onto generic FPGA modules. Which is much less resource-intensive than the previous part.

Now, I can imagine that, for the sake of #maintenance and #resillience, I may use FPGAs to build all kinds of devices around them. Then, just in case of failure (EMP, maybe) I can safely stock a pile of generic modules, an imprinter and a library of models so I can replace whatever is broken, without looking for a specialised chip.

Does it make sense and why not? ;-)

As for #2, those models are just what you get when you apply the resource-intensive algorithm to just a part of the final design, and treat that "solved" part as one big component to be placed and routed as a monolith. Although it takes less time when that part of the work is already done for you, it's also possible for that approach to produce a less-optimal solution on the FPGA.

Also, if you're using the same design across multiple chips of the same FPGA model, you can flash all of them with the same bitstream file generated from #1. You only have to do the resource-intensive part once.

Previously in 3dPrint Odyssey....

I completed installation of the #SpritePro extruder on the #CR-10v3 #Creality chassis.
Inevitable fallout made me replace faulty nozzle thermistor, made a cable bypass, move Y-axis endstop, replace inner fans with the silent ones and...

Today's challenge is the #hotbed indicator showing flat 144*C, real temperature notwithstanding.
I checked the hotbed #thermistor circuit and it gives ~104 kOhm(?) all the way down to the mainboard (#Creality 2.5.2. #ATMega).

The only reasonable conclusion is that it is the analog port problem. If it is broken, I probably have no choice but to replace the mainboard - unless...

My clever monkey brain sees a spare analog port on the board (the one marked "Thermistor 2" below).

Would it be possible to reassign it for the hotbed thermistor? I assume it may need a recompilation of the firmware, but what the heck: I can do it if I have to, opposite to buying a new mainboard for another 120 EUR I do not have...
