#Debian #Samba #Dolphin #KDE How to log in to the share?

smbclient '\\192.168.88.1\Video' --user=xxxx.yyyy/zzzz --password=******* works like a charm with full access, as defined on samba server (Microtic RouterOS).

Now, when I create a remote place via Dolphin, there is no way to enter password and I am given R/O access to the share.

What am I missing?

1
username, use uri-style notation smbs://user@host:port/path
you can omit port, it will use default.
Access denied.
Cannot write to smb://petros@192.168.88.1/Video/Pliktekstowy.txt.
then i don't know now, if it were me i would either go check out if there are any related settings or abadon tought of using dolphin and look for something like smbfs
