If one wants to regain some joy of life, coming-of-age stories are a good place to go. #JackCampbell's "The Dragons Of Dorcastle" #book pretends to follow several tropes, "Romeo and Juliet" to start with, but is lighter and less shallow at the same time. Most importantly, protagonists struggle not only against usual threats - malfaisants, mysteries and monsters - but also with their traumas and coping mechanisms, caused by their upbringings. It reminds me "The Place Of Beginning" by Ursula LeGuin, with some a lot of swashbuckling added.
