What are your favourite #antagonist #villain figures within #SolarPunk realm of imagination? Ones, who can generate some real tension, bring some darker vibes into the #story? I really miss the suspense, thrill and cliff-hangers of epic and existential quality.
Too much Soviet SF in my young days, I guess....

a lot of books (like the Gamechanger, A Half Built Garden) put the "old capitalists" as the villains, but I would be more subtle and not cast any people or groups there. I would cast traits. Technosolutionism. Fanaticism. Purism.

When I wrote https://alxd.org/solarpunk-rpg-factions.html , I made the factions purposefully problematic, so that each one could generate some problems.
