Thiel et al., the real power behind Don, JD and Elon, won pretty much within the rules of the system known as the US Democracy. They started early (way before 2016), gathered supporters, controlled the narrative, rallied voters and used the system the way it was intended to. And their key to success was low turnout of opposing voters. Which was happily facilitated by the Dems, tediously alienating all groups outside the fairly narrow strip of "moderate" voters.

Winners rallied actual masses of people radically angry with status quo _and_ at the same time susceptible to the narrative of power-that-fixes-it-all.

The opposite social force - people radically angry with status quo, and subscribing to the power-to-the-people narrative - stayed at home, seeing no champion to fight for them in this struggle. They were simply ignored by the Harris-Waltz side. And here we are - decisions have consequences.

Anyone who wants to fight the same battle again, should learn the lesson.

Now, there is a chance no such battle will be possible any time soon. Trump already proved he is more than happy to ignore customary standards of cohabitation, traditional checks and balances. With massive support from his base (and I do not mean voters), he will be able to rebuild the whole system following both his personal whims (Google and Facebook - beware!) and the agenda of Project 2025. The further it goes, the less pleasant or civilised means will be needed to reverse the damage.

With a very possible scenario of Trump, once he completes his "one-day dictator" stunt, proclaimed mentally unfit for the office, and replaced with Vance, we are going to be in a soup even hotter than we expect now. Vance is no madman, he is the hitman. And we will - all of us, around the globe - be hit soon enough.

Gather your wits, review you plans and execute them ASAP.
