Hey, folks. I hate doing this, but my family and I need help with money for food & gas. This is unfortunately going to be a regular request until I can get a new job. (See my pinned posts for my resume.)
We average about $35/day for food (2 adults, 2 kids) and $10/day for gas, if we are being cheap. Dog food is $22/week. So we need around $335-$340 to make it through the week, making sure everyone is fed and gets to school. Any help, however small, is deeply appreciated.

One of my daughters turns 13 this week, if anyone would be willing to help out a little extra. We don't *need* it, but there is definitely some guilt at not being able to do anything nice.
Down to $11 for tonight. I've been letting down on the editing & reboosting because I've been distracted with job search stress, and now we don't have enough to get dinner.
We have just enough for dinner -- very tight, but doable. But we are completely out of dog food aside from what's in the bowl rn. Would anybody be able to help us out so our pooches don't go without?
We also habe another issue: Our car insurance has lapsed, and so has our vehicle registration. We need the vehicle in order to get the kids to school, since we are outside the bus routes, and in Texas, they impound your vehicle if you're caught driving without insurance. The registration being out makes it *way* more likely to be pulled over, so my wife is a nervous wreck (pardon the pun) every time she has to drive.
We need ~$300 total in order to get the insurance reinstated and cover the registration.
Right now we are subsisting on just enough money to eat and feed the dogs. Utility bills will be coming due soon, too, but they are less urgent right now.
Can anybody help us keep from falling deeper in the hole while I search for a job?

@hadon Not a typo! Some of it was already spent, as it's a running total, but we got over $1k in a single day! This should keep us going for a over a week, even with the bills that have to come out of it.
@8petros Hey, I went to MetaMask, but it's not at all clear what I need to do from here. Is the chrome extension required for desktop access? Is it better to just do it on my phone?
Essentially it is just your preference, whichever device you feel more comfortable with. Once you have your wallet securely set up, you can just publish its address for people to start sending a specific crypto you chose as your base.
Next step is to create a multicurrency donation link via trocador, where you put your wallet address as the receiving address, but people can send many different currencies, being exchanged on the fly. For spending the money, the crypto card seems to be the easiest way.
