So, #FediAdmins, (especially those of #Friendica), what #blockLists do you use to block spammers and other evildoers?
I have just recovered from hosting suspension ater someone attacked someone (#AppAttack) through us.
Now, with regular nasty people I can deal manually (and it makes my day), but I need a good source of blocks for cyberscum.

Currently I am using #matrix (#element with #synapse) for communication, #friendica as my connection with #fedi. I would also like to use #xmpp, due to its popularity and robustness. Now, I am testing #movim that is said to be able both to work with #ejabberd (matrix / xmpp server) and to be able to federate via #ActivityPub. Does it mean that an #integration of all these channels is finally possible? We have a VPS that is hosting our stack, so I believe we should be able to hack it all together.

Any one tried such things and will share the exeperience?
Let me say that I like Movim UI very much.

Movim by itself does not federate via ActivityPub. There is a work in progress bridge by the #libervia developers, but so far it is largely untested with Movim.

#LiberaPay #Fediverse #EqualRights #EqualAccess #OpenCulture #TePeWu #Pixelfed #Writefreely #Mobilizone #Donations #Funding #Fundraising

We (Tepewu) are now building a coordinated system of donation raising, based on @Liberapay service. Unfortunately, our content is published via #PeerTube, #Friendica, and (federated) #Wordpress. It makes it impossible to connect to our LiberaPay teams and profiles, as it is strictly exclusive for Mastodon and Pleroma networks.
Thus, after exchanging an email message with LiberaPay team (which boiled down to "nothing gonna change, sorry), I decided to create an issue in their Github.

If you believe it is worth to make free donations available for all fediverse-based projects, please support this issue and make LiberaPay treat us all in an equal way.

The (not)funfact: 2 years ago, when I set up my personal account, there was no problem with connecting #Friendica account to #LiberaPay,even if it was categorised as "mastodon". What happened, to make things worse, instead of better?

Halo, #Friendica people!
Is there a way to have emails received and posted in my feed? My plan is to subscribe to an email newsletter and to repost it (selectively and with my comments) through my feed, the same way I do with my RSS sources.

I went through the addons list and found nothing, but I am pretty convinced such option was available.

What did I miss?

Facebook to RSS / Friendica?

What is the best way to get a page stream from #Facebook to #RSS or #Atom or straight to #Friendica?
It is time to start some curated channels.

@8Petros (nie lajkuj, podbijaj!)
I am not into the technical side of it all here, but I do receive your page in Friendica (libranet.de). I did past the FB adress into fetchrss, and than paste the fetchrss XML file into the Friendica search field and search for accounts. Than be patient and wait 30 minutes

Ah, #fetchrss.
I hoped you found a way to include it diectly :-)
Yes, I am testing this way, now is the waiting time. :-)

e2ee for whole fediverse? No eee strategy, please.

@Delta Chat,
I am a happy user of your application, impressed by its robustness.
Do you think it would be possible to use your technology over ActivityPub networks similar way it works over email?
I would be happy to have a #Friendica Delta Chat plugin, or an option to use AP from my native Delta Chat client. Friendica devs are very much strained presently, but this is a noble cause, and I am sure help would present itself.

Friendica @ Yunohost technical question.

@YunoHost
I would like perform some initial configuration on my #Friendica, following guidelines given here: wiki.friendi.ca/docs/initicalc…
However I cannot find out what is "the base of your Friendica installation" mentioned there.
No trace of Friendica where I expected to find it. <puzzled>
