#Firefox #matrixchat protocol handling question. #Linux #Debian, FF 115.14.0esr

I used to have a matrix client configured in firefox to handle matrix links like matrix:#recepcja:synapse.tepewu.pl .
Then I replaced that client with Element-desktop and have no way to change the delegation.
In config: zone, there is only a boolean matrix=True, nothing else. If I try to add "another app", the path /usr/share/applications/element-desktop.desktop is ignored.

Hjalp, pleese?

No cos dziwnego. Może koś doradzi?

Operating System: #Artix #Linux x86_64
#KDE #Plasma Version: 5.27.10
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.112.0
Qt Version: 5.15.11

Zwykły manager plików, libre office i Thunderbird pokazują wszystko ładnie i czytelnie.
Teraz mam ustalone
Styl aplikacji: plastique
Styl plazmy: Breeze
Kolory: Breeze light

I am looking for a #FOSS / #FLOSS #Mindmapping application, featuring at least:
- Running under #Linux (#Arch / #Artix).
- Ability to put more than one "root" node on the map.
- Adding pictures, notes and links to nodes.
- #PDF export, with URL links active.

I checked several apps today and #Minder is close, except it crashes when I hover over some items and has no active links in PDF exports. I am extremely open for suggestions.

Not exactly what you are asking for , but i use #logseq for similar purposes and get a similar work flow with the whiteboard. Not sure about exporting to pdf from the whiteboard, but normal pages and blocks can be exported easily.

#How-to #PDF #printing with predefined print parameters?
I am running #Linux with #KDE Plasma and do some printing (stickers, zines and such). Currently I am using #Okular for that, and I have to set printing parameters every time: number of copies, page size, margins, scaling, paper type and source, etc..

What I would like to have is a set of print "modes" I could apply to any given pdf or graphic file and have it printed in a standard way. I can even stretch my competences and write a shell script, if I know what utility to use.

Someone point me in the right direction, please?

I don't know the answer to your question, but a shell script does seem like the right approach. The `lp` command is usually used to print stuff, and these days it should be able to ingest a PDF directly. Not sure how to set printing options with it, though.

#Artix #Linux #CUPS #problem with #Brother #Laser #Printer #LAN connection.

I have Brother HL-4150CDN laser printer connected over Ethernet to my home router (TCL LinkHUB HH130VM).
CUPS properly detected the printer and added it with the driver I got from the internet.
Now, when I send a job, the printer status very quickly changes from "Idle" to "Cannot locate printer".

Printer description says:
Driver: Brother HL-4150CDN series CUPS (color)
Connection: lpd://BRN001BA9A97CA4/BINARY_P1

I do not even know where to start solving it...
Will do some search, but perhaps someone here knows the solution already?

Latest log: share.riseup.net/#U9GYhIEQW6ka…
DHCP, but the lease is 7 days and I reinstalled the printer after renewing the lease.
The PPD file is here: share.riseup.net/#UfFxWTf6tJRQ…

I forgot to add that when I connect it via USB, it works without any problem.
That makes me think it is the network layer issue.
I will see that 32/64 bit later - multitasking now.

in reply to Jak

For a #Lenovo #ThinkPad L15 #Ryzen, which version should I choose and why?

I am fresh to the "anti-systemd" topic and I hope for some quidance.
