The rise of end times fascism
By Naomi Klein and Astra Taylor

"Thiel and Balaji have been championing what they call “exit” – that those with means have the right to walk away from the obligations of citizenship, esp. taxes and regulations. They dream of splintering govts and carving up the world into hyper-capitalist, democracy-free havens under the sole control of the wealthy, protected by private mercenaries, serviced by AI robots and financed by cryptos."

Damn, that sounds fucking bleak - for them, that is. Imagine having more money than God and being restricted to some small islands of fake reality you control.

The most chilling experience is to see how #NeoStalinism emerges in the #US. This part we never saw - our families were too far away from vestibules of power, and we only experienced local frosting and thawing of the regime.
Now, as we experience end times fascism, without even the slightest promise of "better, brighter future", we can painfully clearly see the political system showing advances of long-settled leprosy, making people and institutions numb and detached from reality. Cruelty, nihilism, death cults became the fad of the most powerful. And we are their toys to break, for fun and for frustration relief.

My viewpoint is that of a single autistic person. I am not "autism speaking", although I probably do a better job than Autism Speaks, where most of the people there aren't autistic.

The majority of autistics are unemployed.
Many of them struggle with car centric infrastructure, as a lot of them don't drive.
Autistic children suffer abuse at higher rates than non-autistic children.

People should look at that, maybe.
Instead of ways to hide us and make us go away.

Did you know? The word “trumpery” appeared in the 15th century with the meanings “deceit” or “fraud”. 100 years later, it was being applied to objects of little or no value. Then in the 1900’s, it came to mean “showy but worthless”. — Today, it is equated with “fascist shit”.

To me, current #USpol dynamics much more resembles a turbo-#Stalinism than a German-style #NeoNazism. Granted, it is a hybrid of both, but Don Don is much more into Uncle Joe's культ личности.

To Americans, pharmaceutical healthcare is nothing but dollars. Eliminating human need is an attack on US billionaires and their exploitive profits.

The "insulin industry" is particularly disgusting when you realize that when Frederick Banting discovered insulin in 1923, he refused to put his name on the patent because he felt it was unethical for a doctor to profit from a discovery that would save lives, so Banting’s co-inventors, James Collip and Charles Best, sold the insulin patent to the University of Toronto for a mere $1 since they wanted everyone who needed their medication to be able to afford it.

Americans profiteers then went on to patent every method of manufacturing this "free invention" for their own profit.

❝ Hundreds of military children […] at Defense Department schools across the globe walked out of class Thursday to protest book bans, curriculum changes and restrictions on extracurricular activities…

The walkouts, which included about a dozen schools on U.S. military bases in Europe, Asia and at least one stateside, represent the biggest collective action military children have taken since the start of the Trump administration… ❞
